Greetings.

Welcome to the launch of The South Dakota Standard! Tom Lawrence and I will bring you thoughts and ideas concerning issues pertinent to the health and well-being of our political culture. Feel free to let us know what you are thinking.

With no commercial or political overseers, The Standard remains independent in these uncertain times

With no commercial or political overseers, The Standard remains independent in these uncertain times

We’ll be sailing into uncharted waters soon enough. Tom Lawrence and I intend to navigate the uncertain seas with our independence and integrity intact. With your help, we’ll keep The Standard afloat, ready and able to provide a platform for the many voices in the region that have something to say.

Our tens of thousands of “hits” every month tell us that Tom and I – along with our mix of contributors – are providing information and opinions that are insightful and relevant.

We want to keep doing so as we move into a new era of the American experience and we hope that with your financial support we can maintain our pace.

If you’d like to be part of the process that makes The Standard stand out as a source of information and commentary that matter, you can help financially by clicking on the PayPal button on your right.

If you’d rather send a check, please make it out to The South Dakota Standard and mail it ℅ John Tsitrian at 6144 Wildwood Dr. Rapid City, SD  57702.

Thanks to the many of you who have supported us. We couldn’t be more appreciative. Now, with so much uncertainty on the horizon, a steady stream of independent thought is more necessary and ever. We hope you’ll do what you can to keep it coming.  John Tsitrian
